Balance Giclee print

Beautiful art, created by hand and transferred via giclee processing. Signed and numbered. Each print is mounted, matted, and measures 12" x 12". Susan's thoughts on creating Balance and a suggested meditation are included.

"Since these mandalas arise out of my personal experiences, it was inevitable that balance would need to be one of them, as it is a lifelong issue for me. As the feeling of balance deepens in my life, there is also a sense of safety and lightness. I am learning that with a balanced mind and a stable body, all changes can be welcome.

"The rings in this mandala are all relatively narrow. Their closeness to each other seems to echo the feeling of balance and connection that I seek."

These pieces are giclee prints, and each is part of a small print run of only twenty five.

Simply put, a giclee print is a way of using the latest digital inkjet technology to reproduce an original piece of art. The word giclee comes from the French and can be loosely translated as “sprayed ink.” The art is first scanned with a large format digital camera, and then can be color-adjusted with an amazing degree of accuracy. Finally, it is printed with archival ink on fine paper using a very advanced and specialized printer. The result is an archival print with vibrant, long-lasting color which is incredibly faithful to the original image. It is quite an elegant and magical process.
