Partnership Giclee print

Beautiful art, created by hand and transferred via giclee processing. Signed and numbered. Each print is mounted, matted, and measures 15" x 15". Susan's thoughts on creating Partnership and a suggested meditation are included.

"The idea of partnership is always somewhat thrilling. The desire for the support and connection it provides bubbles up from deep within us as something not only delightful, but also quite necessary. Yet it is not only very hard to attain, it is even more difficult to maintain."

"While creating this mandala, I made several mistakes and had to make adjustments, so I gave up the idea of perfection. There were a lot of starts and stops along the way, and I hoped that I would be able to regain the original rhythm. Hmmm, this was turning into quite the mirror."

These pieces are giclee prints, and each is part of a small print run of only twenty five.

Simply put, a giclee print is a way of using the latest digital inkjet technology to reproduce an original piece of art. The word giclee comes from the French and can be loosely translated as “sprayed ink.” The art is first scanned with a large format digital camera, and then can be color-adjusted with an amazing degree of accuracy. Finally, it is printed with archival ink on fine paper using a very advanced and specialized printer. The result is an archival print with vibrant, long-lasting color which is incredibly faithful to the original image. It is quite an elegant and magical process.
